We often visit a range of aquatic outlets having kept fish for over 20 years. However, since converting our tank to hold Malawis, we have found that the general shops don’t hold a large enough range of fish and don’t fully understand their needs. On arrival at Midlands Malawis, Gemma and Carl were very easy to talk to and offered great advice. We came away with a few new tankmates to complement what we already have which is key. The new fish settled in easily and are top quality. Our tank now seems to be balanced and looks like the slice of an African lake that we wanted. We’ll be back at Midlands Malawis for sure!

We collected six Hongi SRT from Carl and Gemma early on Saturday morning. Nothing was too much trouble , and we were greeted cheerfully. We drove the fish to their new home in London , within half an hour they were beginning to colour up and settled in very well. Will certainly be placing another order soon.

Just been to Carl and Gemma for my annual tank refresher. Fish are stunning as usual little elongata Mpangas colouring up like proper adults though they are less than 2\”long. Lovely 2\” M. Maisoni Reef thinks he\’s the tank boss already and the Lions Cove Afra are compleately at ease swimming with the established inhabitants, brilliant

Just had 18 delivered thus morning after just ordering them 2 days ago. I love Malawi cichlids and had them for a long time the fish I got off of Carl are absolutely fantastic the colours are unbelievable they are truly incredible fish. They were securly packet separated into individual bags and now swimming happily with the rest of my malawis. Anyone wanting to buy cichlids shop here u will not be disappointed I\’ve never had fish delivered to me before and was slightly worried but soon as they came I could tell they had be packed professionally. Collected our fish from Carl & Gemma on a Monday night,kept them in a hotel room overnight then drove500+ miles home and only lost 1 fish due to leaking bag so that says all about the health of the fish and care in packaging. A great couple to meet and a cracking set-up .

Received 21 fish yesterday fron Carl & Gemma, Arrived about 10am and took over an hour to unpack and get the fish into the tank because they were very well package. The best package I have seen.
